Estate Administration Professional
Lawyers Service Center, Inc. is pleased to announce the latest version of its probate software program. Originally introduced in 1997 as the Estate Administration Assistant, the all-new Estate Administration Professional takes a new approach in that for each decedent's estate, or for each guardianship, a separate database will be created with all pertinent information. Information about the decedent or ward is entered first, including name, address, date of birth, date of death, etc.. Once entered a separate database is created for that case, additional inputs are then available listing all of the heirs-at-law, the fiduciaries, and other interested parties. The various forms are then accessed as well. All of the forms for the decedent or ward are listed in the database, making access to those forms easier and quicker.

A new "auto-fill" feature has been added making the completion of the various forms easier than ever before. When a form is first created you will have the option of having the program insert most of the relevant information directly onto the form. This includes the name and address of the decedent, the listing of the heirs-at-law, and pertinent information about the fiduciaries.

By simply clicking on the 'Yes' button above, most of the pertinent information is placed onto each form in the correct place, saving the time of typing or copying it yourself. While some information will still need to be added, all the basic information can be input automatically. In some cases, the information may need to be adjusted somewhat due to space limitations of the form. Additionally, the "clipboard" feature is still available as well allowing you to copy information concerning each case onto any form. "User friendly" drop down menus also enable you to enter information more quickly without having to type everything in.

Also included is a section for Tasks and Reminders. This section allows you to keep track of all pertinent dates relating to the estate. This may be particularly helpful if the information is stored on a central network and various users access and/or edit the decedent's information.
The forms available with the Estate Administration Professional include:
